The onboarding was a process that should have been done within days had been stretched to weeks till he finally got notice that if it wasn’t done he would be removed from duty. Jordar wasn’t avoiding them, he didn’t mind them actually but he hadn’t been on a ‘normal’ ship in a while and most of his career wasn’t one where checking in was part of the process. Counselors were an interesting thing for him though, the bluntness of his people usually meant that they were very open and honest and didn’t play the usual games, but it could come off as aggressive and was more up to the counselor to handle. He rang the chime and stood waiting at attention.
