The young ensign walked through the corridors with a rather brisk step, his head bobbing from side to side to the beat of a pop song that was stuck in his head. His blonde hair danced off of his Starfleet uniform, swaying back and forth. Black eyes danced from door to door until they landed on the particular room he had been searching for.

He was looking forward to visiting the ship’s counselor. He always enjoyed meeting a fellow betazoid off-world. Attending Starfleet Academy on Earth had been a jarring experience growing up on Betazed. He always appreciated human culture and made many friends during his studies at the Academy. But, admittedly, he was homesick and the presence of another betazoid helped alleviate that.

Reaching forward, he pressed the door chime and put his hair in a ponytail.

The door slid open, revealing a warmly lit office. The first thing he would notice is the baby grand piano sitting in the middle of the room against the far wall. To the right of the piano was a desk, to the left a small seating area with a small loveseat and two armchairs.

Seated in one armchair was a man with auburn colored hair, and deep black eyes. He had neatly trimmed facial hair, matching his auburn hair. He held in his hands a paper printed book. Looking up as the doors opened, he folded the book closed and set it on a nearby end table. Standing, he approached the young man with a smile.

Hello there Simon said telepathically. Please come in and have a seat. I am Counselor Arbogist
