Straightening his uniform, the young Merot stepped into Sickbay. His blonde hair danced around his shoulders as black eyes surveyed the room. Smirking to himself, he put his arms behind his back, patiently waiting to proceed with his check-up.

A tall man in a white coat was walking past the Ensign, PaDD in hand busy reading something and stopped, looked up at the new arrival and studied him for a few moments “Can I help you, Ensign?” He asked taking a step towards the younger man. He was taller than the security officer but thinner, his hair a dirty blond and immaculately groomed, he spoke Standard with a slight Scottish inflexion.

Black eyes settled on the Doctor. The older gentleman was glancing him over. Perhaps sizing him up? He stood at attention. “Forgive my intrusion, sir. Ensign Seistran Merot of the Seventh House of Betazed, reporting in for my medical evaluation.”

Jack raised a hand “At ease, ensign. I’m Doctor Grey, Chief Medical Officer” He introduced himself, albeit a little stiffly. “Have a seat over there” he gestured to a nearby biobed “You a recent graduate?” He asked, new graduates were some of the few people that stood at attention when reporting for a medical examination.
