As far as posting went the Delta Quadrant wasn’t the worst in terms of opportunity but by word did it have its draw backs, one of them was the amount of time it took to get there. None the less making his way down the long docking umbilical towards the Manhattan embarking entrance for new crew members with his assignment orders in hand it was finally time to continue his journey.

That’s all the assistant security officer held, having faith in the operations department to transfer his things from the starbase to his quarters aboard the ship that was soon to be his home for the next few years. The other reason for his lack of duffel bag, the usual carry on item was because he planned on doing his check ins as soon as possible with his first stop being the medical office so that he could be cleared on board.

Sickbay was located on deck three along with the officers mess, transporter rooms and a shuttle bay. It was safe to say the Manhattans designers clearly wanted to use every space possible to increase the ships effeciency and functionality.

The walk from the embarking point to sickbay wasn’t a long one thanks to his brisk walking pace and the use of turbo lifts so it wasn’t long until Luke found himself walking into sickbay and looking around for anyone to help him.
