Acosta looked at Raye with an expression that bore some surprise. Recovering the aged prune faced Gravenian replied, “Why thank you, but no. It is too close to nightfall for me to have more.” He looked in the direction of the others. “An accident has happened and it involves a senior member. This will reach the reporting channels and they will be seeking some statements. As the day is coming to a close we wanted to start a plan to initiate the investigation in the morning. Unfortunately it also means a close to our first meeting.” He cleared his throat and looked at First Minister.

Biehl added, “I think we can say that this first meeting was profitable. It speaks of common interests but also great differences between our peoples. Which, I am hopeful, we can overcome.” He glanced nervously at Acosta. “How are your people who were injured?”
- Biehl and Acosta

Raye nodded. “I hope tomorrow we can speak more of what we can exchange for the betterment of both our people.” As the man asked about those injured, the diplomat rose. “Let me check with my Superiors and see if I can get some more information about the ones on the ship for you.” She nodded respectfully, “Excuse me a moment.”

Heading over to where the XO and Pretha were speaking, she kept her back to the others. “Any word on the injured from here that were taken to the ship? I believe we are done for the day. But they are concerned about their wounded.” She smiled to both, unaware what they had been talking about.”

Raye
Diplomat

Looking over at Pretha he wondered what news she would have. “I don’t think I got that details from you, do we have information on that?” he asked.

Creed, XO

The young Security Officer shook her head. Taking the initiative, she tapped her comm badge. =^= Medical, this is Lt Oberon. I’m on the surface with the XO and the Diplomat, Ms Anders. We are finishing up for the day and our Hosts are asking about the status of their people up there. Do we have anything to tell them yet?=^= She kept her voice low enough to not be heard across the room.

Pretha
Sec/CRIT Ldr

=/\=For the moment Tov is stable but we are beginning surgery with the assistance of Dr. Hone. We will report when it is over,=/\= Jasmine responded to the comm.

Raye nodded and headed back to the group, “Lemme know when you get a response.”

Moving back to the group, her smile was ever present as she sat back down again. “We are checking with our ship now on the status of your people. I’m expecting a reply rather quickly. Can I get either of you a drink?” She said, motioning to the serving table before she actually relaxed back into her seat.

Vorraye
Diplomat

Biehl nodded. “Thank you.” Acosta simply held up his hand in the universal symbol of ‘not for me thanks’.

=^=Copy… thank you=^= Pretha turned to the XO and nodded. “I’ll let the Diplomat know. And I believe we just need to make sure we have everyone,” she nodded to the security officer on the comms just out of earshot, “and I think we are ready to go when she says.” She nodded to Raye and smiled. “Is that acceptable, Sir?”

(Space for answer)

Pretha nodded and moved to let the Diplomat know of the condition of those on the ship. She nodded politely to the others and Raye, she addressed the group. “I have been told that Tov, forgive me if I pronounced it wrong, is stable. And they are about to do surgery on Dr. Hon.” She glanced around to see if there were any questions or reactions she needed to take note of.

Pretha
Sec/CRIT Ldr

Biehl’s eyes bulged out. “Surgery on Hone? Is there something wrong with him too?!” He blurted out, sputtering the drink that he had just been handed and taking a drink of.

Raye nodded. “Thank you, Lieutenant.” She turned to the others. “Is there anyone else that wishes to go up for the night? I am sure I can get permission for one, or possibly two more if you feel it necessary. Or I can simply take up anything you feel they may need till tomorrow morning. Perhaps personal or religious items.” She smiled and nodded towards the XO and the other security officer. “I am sure we can make special arrangements, within reason of course, if there are other necessities you feel are needed while they are away.”

Raye
Diplomat

Both shook their heads. “Second Minister and Hone are already there. We’ll stay.” They looked at one another. Acosta replied. “We will speak with Minister Maree’s family and collect a clothing change. Otherwise that should be fine. Many of our habits of ablutions and the like are similar to yours. In short no kitchen sinks needed to go up there, if I read your expression brief correctly. There is nothing for now.” He stood up and stretched. “My residence is farther away. I must be away ere Even-Fall. First Minister,” he said with a nod, then shuffled out.
