USS Manhattan

Counselor's Office

It had taken two days to work through 250 of the crews files, meet Yeoman Brooks, set up a system between them and move the office furnishings around and decorate to her liking. On the third day, Zef walked in to see Dave (the Yeoman) already sitting at his desk with a cup of coffee. “Morning.”

“Good morning, Cmdr. I’ve taken the liberty of pulling up the next fifty records on your monitor for this morning’s perusal.” He got up and followed her into her office. Truth be told, Dave was quite happy with his new assignment. Sure he was security, but a little time behind a desk was fine with him.

As Zef settled behind the desk, Dave turned from the small replicator unit on the wall with a cup of hot, lemon water for the Bajeen. She’d shared that she liked to begin her day with a cup or two of the citrus drink before switching over to coffee and he was ready and willing to help make it happen. After he set the cup near her right hand, she smiled up at him. “Thank you, Dave. That’s going the extra step but is not necessary, really. I’m capable of running a replicator.”

He returned the grin. “Yes, Ma’am, I understand, but it helps me to feel useful.”

White, shapely brows raised with interest. “I see. If you want something to do, how about contacting all senior staff, command officers and bridge crew to arrange an appointment with me over the next three days—Captain’s orders?”

He stepped towards the door. “I’m on it.”

OOC: Everyone should assume they got a call from Dave to make an appt. You can each start a thread to conduct the interview. Looking forward to this!!!
