Gareth was just standing by at one of the miscellaneous Security stations listening to everything before looking around and piping up himself. “I’d be more than willing to help escort and assist one of the away teams sir. I don’t mean this in a negative way .. but I feel like I’m not contributing everything I can standing by on one of the stations..” He scratched his head hoping his interruption wasn’t considered rude. He wanted to help in whatever way possible, whether that be at a station, or on the ground.

Jack looked over at Balian, “Sir, we need a final team. I can assist, and Celina would be a good choice to. Having people who can aid in all areas is going to maximize success but we need an order.” Jack said looking at Balian, he wasn’t trying to tell him how to do his job, quite contrary he wanted to let him know more what assets they had to complete the mission.

“Jack make the second team happen but I am keeping Guns tight here until the Hirogen leave.”

“Can’t blame a girl for trying,” Celina said with a smile and shrug of her shoulders runing back to her console. She wouldn’t deny that the idea of going to the planet seemed fun but she did have a huge array of big honkin’ space guns at her fingertips. The prospect of firing those baby’s up and testing them out did lessen the blow.

Jack nodded his head, “Understood sir, sorry guns.” he said as he looked over at Celina. “Alright I will send out orders on the way to the transporter room. Unless there is anything else you need sir?”

“I’ll be following you to the transporter room, Commander,” Logan said. “And we’re taking extra security officers, as well. Can’t be too careful on an unknown scenario like this one.”

Balian shook his head no, though he had already passed this issue to Jack, and now was puzzling over something different on his readouts. The tactical side of his brain working on the possibility of the Hirogen attacking.

“Guns what do you think of shifting to a high polar orbit to cover the shuttles?” Balian had made his choice but it was an exercise he could also see what his Tac officer’s considerations would be. She knew the weapons better than he did on this thing.

“If we do then I can cover both shuttles at one time. We will need to have the angle set precisely so that I can also take pot shots at the Hirogen ship…if it comes ot that Sir,” Celina replied. “Helm take us to the intersecting coordinates of 64.7511 and 147.3494.”

Logan wanted to make sure that things were covered here if he went on the mission. “Captain,” he said, “You want me on one of the shuttles, correct? I think that Lt. Rodriguez is capable of handling any possible threat to the ship.”
