She really didn’t have time for this, but Faye also had little choice. While she didn’t report to the CSO, she was using Science Department resources and so it only made sense to have a face-to-face meeting. It also provided her a chance to see if her other task was even necessary in this case.

Tying off the end of her french braided teal toned hair, Faye smoothed her jacket and left, heading up one deck from her quarters to the office located between GS Labs 1 and 2. Pressing the chime, Faye had calmed herself so as to present a fairly neutral emotional state so that the El Aurian would have less to ‘pick up on’ as their meeting started.
