Ben stepped out of his quarters, and started to make his way toward the turbolift. He was dressed smartly in a fresh set of his uniform, his hair pushed up and to one side in a quiff. He felt well rested, having slept solidly the entire night. He had planned to read through some medical reports when getting in, but instead he had decided to take a short lie down on his bed. The next thing he knew, he was waking up at 0500 to the sound of his alarm. He had decided to get in a few rounds of Velocity down in the holodeck, before taking a shower and heading for breakfast. As he entered the Turbolift, he thought he could hear footsteps following behind him. He held the door open for a moment to see if anyone came around the corner.
Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical OfficerIt was Eilah who came around the corner and stepped into the lift, dressed in a clean uniform and smiling. “Morning, Ben. Where’re you headed off to?”
~ Fayth, COS
Ben smiled. “Hey!” he said, letting the doors slide shut after Eilah entered. “I was going to go to breakfast,” he said, before lifting a hand up to one of Eilah’s elbows, touching it gentle. “Apparently I have a really important meeting with the Chief of Security at 0700.” he said with a grin.

Chief Medical OfficerEilah smiled. “Apparently you made it a little early.” He said. “I was just wondering what to have for breakfast. I’m thinking something light. Today’s going to be busy. What about you?”
~ Fayth, COS
Ben’s face dropped with slight disappointment. He was planning on having a full English breakfast, having just spent the previous hour ducking and diving around the holodeck. Mustering a bit of a smile, he was about to agree with having something light, but then remembered Eilah’s ability… not that it would have been necessary with the picture painted by his facial expression.
“Well, truth be told, I’m starving,” he said, with a bit of a smile before continuing. “I could eat a horse.”
