Many officers saw the mandatory boarding psych eval as a chore, a time waste, something they didn’t want to do. Eilah didn’t need it, he didn’t think, but he understood the importance of it and he appreciated the chance to meet the ship’s counselor for the first time, anyway.

Still using a map on a personal PaDD to navigate the ship, he made his way quickly to the right place. Eilah arrived at the door for the CNS’ office, rang the chime, and then waited patiently.
