Imma nodded and began lining them up in one big long line. Soon the other children had gathered around and were helping. Byrle helped Koro show Imma how to turn the blocks and create the outline. The children worked for almost an hour building and playing and knocking things down just to build it all over again. Imma followed Koro around copying whatever he was doing.

Shedda

Koro was utterly absorbed in playing with the other children, but every now again again he’d run over to Shedda excited about this or that. After awhile though, he bounded over with a bit less energy and leaned against her. “Shedda, I’m hungry.”

Shedda took several pictures with her PaDD and would chat away with Koro every time he ran over. Asking him about what he was doing or commenting on something he had done. The other children had started making similar requests as well of their teacher. She looked down, “Alright, go help your friends put the blocks away, tell them bye. Then we’ll go eat.”

Shedda

“Okay!” Koro ran off and began re-piling the blocks where they had been, his little legs hurrying him along. He gave Imma a hug and then one of the other children gave him one too before he darted off. But Koro stopped, turned and waved at them, before continuing back to Shedda. “All done, Shedda!”

“Great job! Thank you for helping, Koro.” Some of the other children ran up and Shedda thanked each one for helping too before grabbing Koro’s box and heading out.

Shedda led the way to a lift letting Koro choose if he wanted to hold her hand or not. “Deck 3.” Stepping off the lift when it opened she led the way and stepped up to the door that slid open for her. She set the box on a table and then swung him up, “Come on Koro. Let’s see what Chef Harv has made today.”
