A Vulkan male stepped off of the Turbolift onto deck 3. He stepped down the corridor the man headed towards Sickbay. He walked into the area. He looks around and lifted his hand and ran it through his obsidian black hair. He headed back towards the administrative portion of the module. Walking over to the receptionist he gave a nod, his face passive. “Hello. I am here for my medical evaluation.” He said flatly.
Sovrk, CSO

The young medical yeoman looked up and nodded, “Of course Lt.” He looked at his console and tapped away until he found the personnel photo that matched the officer in front of him. “Lt Sovrk?” He turned toward the door, “Lt Shrine, the new CSO is here for his physical. Lt. Sovrk.”

An older portly woman, who looked both welcoming and a force of nature appeared in the doorway. “Welcome to the Manhattan, Lt. Right this way. I’m Nurse Shrine.” She turned on a biobed, “Have a seat. Did you bring your medical file with you?”

NL Shrine

Sovrk nodded. “That is me.” He said as the medical personnel called his name. He waited as the nurse came to him. He followed after her once she lead away to another room. “Lt. J.G Sovrk. Thank you. It seems that I will be very busy here on the USS Manhattan.” He said giving a nod. He followed to the biobed and sat down on the edge of it. He reached into a satchel on his side and handed over his PADD which had his medical history pulled up.
The information on the padd was sparse though it showed his previous medical checkups and physicals all seeming normally consistant for a young Vulcan. The only thing that was realtively noted was that there was extensive scarring on the patients back, that when offered treatment for in the past, Sovri had denied such treatment.

The woman gave him a motherly smile, “Yes science does seem to stay very busy. A lot to see and do all the way out here.” Shrine took the PaDD and transferred the file to the Manhattan computer. “Thank you, Lt. The doctor will be right here.” She bustled off and a moment later an older man in a medical uniform, mostly bald but for a ring of white hair approached. “Good day, Lt. I am Dr. Elbbirt. How are you feeling, physically?” He flipped open a medical tricorder and began waving the probe around him. “Any ill effects from the worm hole? Vertigo, dizziness, neasua, vomiting, trouble sleeping, headaches, anything out of the ordinary?”

Elbbirt

Sovrk nooded as the nurse departed. Once the Dr came up he focused his attention on the older man. “I am generally well. There is some light Nausea but other than that no.” He shook his head but otherwise sat still for the scans. “Therehas been no variance from my normal homeostasis that I can precieve other than the nausea.” He added on as he watched the doctor.
Sovrk, CSO

Elbbirt nodded focusing his scans on Sovrk’s stomach and cochlea to determine which was causing the nausea. “Tell me about the scaring in your back, Lt. I see in your record you declined treatment for them, and that is your choice. However there is no mention of when or gown they occurred. So I must ask if you have any long term or lingering complications from them.”

Elbbirt

Nothing on the scans seemed to abnormal for Vulcan physiology. Sovrk’s face changed for just a split second at the mention of his scars, his face darkened his expression seated to one experencing deep hate, and dark anguish at the same time. Though it only lasted a second before the cool calm collected mask went back up. “There were aquired during a ceremonial ritual that is deep at the cultural core of my people.” He said offering a note of finality, like he would speak no more of the topic. “The scarred dermal tissue and muscle tissue has offered no hinderance to my every day life or duty.” He stated rather matter of a factly “We are a resilient species Doctor.” He said. “You are welcome to look at them, but I still refuse treatment for them. They are a reminder to me and serve as a mater of great personal importance.” He explained his tone ever so cool and even.
Lt.J.G Sovrk, CSO

“Easy young man. I’m not asking you to have treatment or for details of your ceremonies. Just a basic health question. That does bring up another question. Are you adverse to medical treatments and intervention in general? Such as the nausea? I can give you something for it.”
