His little face lit up and he pointed to the one that was awash with a gradient of colour. “That one! Can we get that one, Shedda?” he asked, positively vibrating with excitement.

Shedda smiled, “Yes we can. Here…” There were three different ones. Different thicknesses, materials, and hems. She had to computer replicate all three. “Pick the one you like and we will the computer take the other two back.”

Koro reached out and touched all three, taking his time with this very important task. After all, the blanket had to feel nice. His little face became set up as he concentrated until he put both his hands on the one blanket that was super soft but of a medium weight and had a plain edge. “This one, Shedda. I think Mirane will like this one.” He broke into a gin, seeming very pleased with himself.

Shedda let him take his time as he chose. She wanted him to be sure it was what he wanted and know it was his gift and his idea. When he finally selected it she grinned, “I think that is perfect, Koro. Mirane will be nice and warm and comfortable with this one.” Shedda returned the other two and then helped him pick out a box to wrap it in.

When they were done she helped him off the stool. “Alright Koro, now, I have a surprise for you. Are you ready?”
