William checked the map once more and ran his hand through his blond hair before entering the sickbay that he hoped was the correct one. It had been already a trial just finding his way to his quaters that he was about to tear the map in half out of frustration. However when he walked in and saw that it was indeed the place he was lookig for he took a deep breath and relaxed. Of all the check ins this one he had been the most worried about. Being enhanced raised a lot of questions. William walked to the first available doctor and gave them a smile his light blue eyes warm.
“Good afternoon, My name is William Cunningham, the new Counselor. I was told to check in here for my physical.”

As the newcomer had entered sickbay, one of the doctors immediately sensed the presence of the man and paused in his work at one of the stations. Tomas’ eyes remained down, but the lingering sense of frustration the man carried still lingered to the half-Deltans unique senses and let him track the man, every step as if he was watching him instead of feeling the emotion that drifted from him.

The experience of the emotions of others was, to Tomas, always a mixture of Deltan exhilaration and sensual exploration and yet, his human side revolted against the seeming invasion of others feelings, especially since Tomas only had the ability, in general, to sense another beings negative emotions, albeit extremely effectively. As the emotional footsteps grew closer Tomas set down his work PaDD, and after the man spoke, turned in greeting.

“Mr Cumningham, welcome to the Manhattan. I am Doctor Kuno” the short but oddly symmetrically attractive man acknowledged. “You’re in the right place certainly. Take a seat on this biobed here and let’s see whatever we can see. Do you have anything out of the ordinary to report before we begin, Counselor?” Tomas slipped a medical tricorder from the stand beside the bed and punched in the counselors name, waiting for the ships medical file from transfer to appear on the screen.
