Faye grinned, her heart beating fast as she opened her clutch and grabbed two things, her necklace with the vial on it and one of the room cards. Moving around him, and dragging her fingers across his torso as she did, Faye moved to his door and tapped the card.
“I knew you were just after the cake.” he said with a wink.
“Hard to resist,” she bantered back.
Slipping in first, Faye walked backwards and held up a finger. “Close the door behind you but wait there,” she said with intention.
“Yes, ma’am. Anything you say.” he replied softly. He closed the door, activated the ‘Do Not Disturb’ light, and then leaned back against the door and watched her hungrily.
Moving about the bed, Faye dabbed a drop or two of the essential oils that would ground her in this experience. Returning the necklace to her clutch, Faye set it on the dresser and kept her distance. Reaching up, she pulled out the pins that were holding the sides of her hair off her face and tossed them onto the dresser too. Turning her back to him, she reached one hand up and over one shoulder and the other around her back and, grabbing the zipper, slowly began to pul the zipper downwards, revealing skin little by little. Dropping her hands to her sides, she looked over her shoulder at him. “I think I need help with the rest,” she said playfully.

“I think I am just the man for that job. So we’re both in luck.” he said with a mischievous grin. He moved slowly up to and behind her, and put his hands on her hips and kissed the exposed skin softly, delicately, flicking the tip of his tongue across her bare shoulder before reaching up and slowly sliding the zipper the rest of the way down, kissing the newly exposed skin down her back as he did so.

A shiver swept down her spine in the most delightful way as she drew in a sharp breath. Reaching up, she slowly drew the wide straps of the gown off her shoulders, the crisp silk fabric settling at her hips. Leaning back slightly towards him, she took his hands and placed them at her sides so they could pull the dress off together. It was hard to explain how much this felt new. It was like all her past encounters had never existed, and yet she had all that experience to guide her here. “Boots are optional,” she whispered, her heart racing.

“Oh… we’ll start with… move on from there…” he whispered as their hands slowly pushed the dress to the floor. He stepped around her, his eyes roaming over her with a hunger that was impossible to hide. “Faye, I…” and his words trailed off as he looked at her and then stepped to her and lifted her straight up off the ground and kissed her with a passion he couldn’t hold back any longer. One arm under her and the other pulling off his coat throwing it to the side of the room, he felt the heat of her flesh against him and wanted nothing more than to feel that heat against his skin.

With him supporting her and her legs wrapped around him (mindful of her heels), Faye was free to help pull off his shirt, though it required him shifting her from one arm to the next. As she pulled the shirt upwards, she whispered in his ear, “So dessert first, then cake. I think I like this arrangement.”
And before they could resume, begin… whatever, Faye rested her hands on on his shoulders and just gazed into his eyes, imprinting his expression and how she felt. There were no nerves, not anymore. There was no mixing him up with anyone else. Beyond the magnificent gestures and romance, there was her and him. And right now, she saw him and he saw her and together anything and everything felt possible. “I love you,” she said simply as if were the first time she had said it to him. And that was the point. She wanted to feel it every time the words slipped out of her mouth, and more importantly, she always wanted him to know that fundamental truth no matter what was ahead for them.

Daggum looked at her, emerald eyes locked into her stormy gray-green ones. “I love you too, Faye. More than anything.” he slowly brought his lips to hers, delicate pressure slowly giving way to stronger passions. Lips and tongues entwined, he pressed her to him. He didn’t budge, didn’t move them forward into the bliss of the inevitable merging of them. He simply held her there, motionless, and let time ebb and flow around them, leaving them in that moment for as long as he could; until at last time crashed around them and they were again moving towards the culmination of the cessation of the need for her to be with him… a part of him physically and so much more.
