The Manhattan orbited the Gravenian world, now serene and appearing as though nothing had happened. The day passed and the night came .. and the Gravenians marveled, not knowing what had changed, but everything had changed, for they did not fall into a sleep at sundown as they had for time immemorial. They saw the moons as though for the first time, the stars that came out. Yes, they still took to their rest but they were not governed by the sun any longer.

Yes, many feared this sudden unknown, unexpected change, but somewhere in their spirits they sensed it would be all right. But they did seek answers, and they turned to those who they felt would know .. some to the government who strove to calm the people and promise to learn themselves what had happened. Some turned to science for it must have been something related to the stellar conjunctions that had just happened. Some sought to blame the same .. for bad experiments gone wrong, or something that the government was involved in, or some kind of alien intervention. Still, some started to turn inward and back to their old teachings to learn whether the wisdom of the Monks held answers for them.

OOC: This marks the unofficial end of the sim. The threads existing can continue to a natural conclusion. Not intending them to just die on the vine there at this point. Thank you all. It has been quite a ride .. if anyone has an idea of what they’d like to do on the next sim, just shout.
