USS Manhattan
CNS Office- Calloway
It was this counsellor’s good fortune that Faye had had plenty of therapy with a person she had known pretty well. It had bee an utter fluke (like so many things) that the same psychiatrist on the Atlantis who helped her through the aftermath of her time with the Romulans was the same one who had bene there on the Curie when everything had gone upside down.
Her expressed gratitude to him had been sincere and while those event shad bene unpleasant, her time away from duty the first time had been much needed. the second time was, well, an inevitability. Toady though, she was physically healthy and fit (if still on the leaner side) and while she wasn’t in perfect mental health, she was more than functional. She was on her meds, so her moods remained more stable and while no one could remove the nightmares and unanswered questions that plagued her, at least she wasn’t falling apart at the seams anymore.
It would be a stretch to say she was looking forward to this meeting, but as she chimed the office Faye could admit she wasn’t harbouring any fears about it either.
