It has been 24 hours since his arrival on the Manhattan and Xeal decided that it was more than time to set up his office and meet his staff.

Xeal arrived at his office carrying a small duffel bag with his office belongings and noticed that there were not many staffers about, ether they were short staffed and the Captain didn’t tell him, or everyone has yet to arrive on shift. He looked at the human chronometer on his left wrist. he had an hour before LT.jg Grant arrived. Time to make this place my own.

First out of his bag was a picture of his wife and young son who he missed every time he looked at the photo. It was a holo photo of them waving at him. He had wanted them to join him on board the ship, but it was agreed that Xaltius should not finish growing up on a ship. Instead he was to finish his schooling and Andor and live with his mother.

He then placed a paperweight of a Andorian troller fish that his son made him when he was 9. It was colorfully painted and was crude but you could certenly tell what it was. He then placed some of his verrous other items around the office. He had also got some old science books and put them on the table. They were some of his prized positions. It helped illustrate to him how far people have come.
