The travel time for this new posting took much longer than Xeal was used to. Though it did give him tie to work on his new thesis on the potential use on bio chemical energy conduits. It was his hope that Star Fleet would finally take his thesis and idea serious for a change. But then again id did occure to him that they did send him out to the Manhattan just to get him out of their way.

the travel time also gave him more than enough time to study the Ship design as well as Event Horizon station. It was the Event Horizon that he was just being shuttled over to now. The station was not quite as big as he had imagined but Xeal thought that it was probably just big enough to protect the wormhole and facilitate transfers and Star Fleets new permanent presence in the Delta Quadrant.

Stepping off of the shuttle he immediately made his way to the airlock where the Manhattan was docked. It was getting late and he was tired, just wanting to go to his quarters and sleep till morning. But before he could do that he had to check in with at-least the CO. Making his way to the bridge of the Manhattan he stepped in to the turbolift thankful that this ship was larger than the ship he was brought here on. He no longer felt as though the walls were pressing in on him. This will be a good ship to call home for the next couple years. He thought.

The turbolift doors opened onto the bridge looking for the Captain. “Greetings I’m Xeal Loss permission to come onboard.”

Though wearing Command Red the man in the Command chair only was wearing Lieutenant’s pips at the moment, so was not likely the Captain. His dark tousled visage did turn towards the Andorian, and smirked, “Permission to enter the Bridge granted Lieutenant, you’ll find the old man in his ready room. He’s had lunch so its probably safe to see him.” The man stated with a flat smile that did not say for sure he was joking.
