Okay, with at least some tacit permission Faye still knew that it was better to have someone else about. Besides, the work would be faster with skilled help and eventually others would actually need to be able to do repair work to her system, so Faye decided it was time to call in reinforcements and kill two birds with one stone. =/\=Calloway to Darach=/\=

Walker let out a sigh of relief, he had been stuck going through reports for the last couple of hours and he was going cross eyed. This was the part of the job he hated.

=^= Where do you want to meet? =^= He hoped he didn’t sound too excited as he stood up and started double checking his toolkit.

=/\=Deck Fifteen. Junction Thirty-six, in twenty minutes? We need to work in the jefferies tubes around Computer Core C. If you can divert power from section thirty-six-gamma, I think we’d both be appreciative to know it’s done correctly,=/\= she said with a hint of a chuckle. Yes, she could laugh (a little) at that incident, even though very few people understood how bad a situation it had actually been for her.

Walker laughed, =^= I will definitely make sure that power has been rerouted. The doc has been hounding me for about the annual physical again, and I don’t need them finding an excuse to trap me in sickbay. But I’ll meet you there in 20. Darach out. =^=

Walking back over to the console in his quarters, Walker keyed in the commands to route power around the junction, and locked out the power controls. Filing the lock out tag out order, so someone wouldn’t inadvertently turn the power back on, he headed out to meet up with Faye.

Faye gathered the parts and the tools they would need and made her way to the junction. Crouching, she pulled open the cover to the jefferies tubes entrance and gazed inside. Inhaling sharply, she had to quell a strange thread of panic. Chill out. It’s not the same. Just a friendly little jaunt.

Just before the 20 minutes were up, toolkit in hand, Walker poked his head inside of the junction.

“Hello? Anyone home?”

“Hey,” Faye said, leaning forward slightly. She was sitting in the crawlspace with her knees up and he toolkit beside her. “Don’t mind me, just… getting accustomed again. Haven’t been in here since a couple weeks ago,” she said quietly.
