The Captain walked into the Labs and walked directly to the CSO’s office. Tapping a command into the pad, the doors slid open and he went inside without a word, allowing the doors to close behind him.

Petty Officer Guldek was on duty and she stared as the CO entered. As the door remained closed for a minute, she was acutely aware that the man surely should have realized that Lieutenant K’Sang wasn’t in his office. Indeed, the Bolian scientist hadn’t seen him all morning.
