Natalie continued toward the main part of the commericial area having given the crew on the Asimov the order to find out if there had been any other people that had gone missing. She knew that the other team was at the embassy looking for information, she figured that the underbelly of Feringar would have more information, she wanted to know what was going on and this was one of the few ways to do so.

Continuing to one of the merchants stalls she stopped and began looking around. She waited until it had mostly cleared out before she went to the owner and started chatting about the goings on on Feringar.

The merchant, seeing a man behind the Captain, got scared and hurried to close his shop. “Excuse me, but do you have a license to be here? Brant, FCA,” said the Ferengi.

Natalie turned to the man “I am here with my ship delivering supplies.” SHe said and handed over her credentials and permission to be on the surface to Brant “I’m also following up on something that was brought to my attention, so if you don’t mind, I would like to continue with my research.” She said looking entirely too calm for the situation.

“I do mind, because this is only your identification, and not your license to conduct business. As FCA, it is my job to make sure that business is conducted fairly accordingly to the new laws here on Ferenginar, which require all business to be registered with the Ferengi Chamber of Commerce,” said Brant.

Natalie looked at Brant “I’m not conducting business.” She said “I’m doing research and paying for anything that I would like to purchase. What are these new rules of acquistion that have been put in place.” Natalie asked as she produced the documents needed to show she was allowed to be conducting business on Feringar.
