The burger and fries are replicated, you okay with that? Our last shipment of a real burger has been tough to come by lately. Social reform, is what’s up. The social upheaval and changes that both Grand Nagus Zek and Grand Nagus Room has been causing quite a stir. There is a group of Ferengis who don’t like the changes. And some extremists who believe that all the social change is bad influence from other cultures… Especially those from the Federation. Running this restaurant hasn’t been a safe occupation anymore. A couple of security guards had to be hired, if you didn’t notice.”

Have the extremists becausing a lot of trouble down here then?” She asked as she took a drink of the butter shot and a bite of fries “Change isn’t always easy.” She said “What kind of trouble have you been having?” She asked “If you want to tell me.”

Any off-worlders are lucky to obtain reliable sources of information, simply because of Rule of Acquisition 17: ‘A contract is a contract is a contract… but only between Ferengi.’ Even those who have gone along with the reforms, no one wants to really talk. As for the restaurant, we’ve had no major incidents since we’ve hired security. But before that, there was some vandalism outside of the establishment, threatening to have all off-worlders leave Ferenginar or else. But threats like those don’t have any teeth when it comes to Ferengis… if another much more imitating foe comes along and the risk is too high with no reward,” said the waiter, “I’ll be back with your order in a minute.”

: : : : : : : : Natalie slid him the necessary GPL and took a bite of the burger “Who do you think is causing more trouble. Zek or Rom?” She asked as she enjoyed her dinner. “Has anyone else been looking for the Grand Nagus or just off worlders?” She asked.

: : : : : : “Zek made the changes and ran off into retirement, and Rom has made additional changes on top of the social reforms. Society is in upheaval, and while there are some Ferengi who are viewing the changes as new opportunities for profit, there are others who want to try to hold their vast wealth and game the system as if it was still the past,” said the waiter, “Since Rom has spent time with the Federation personnel, some of that blame has been directed at the Federation.”

: : : : : Natalie nodded “Yes, he did spend time with the Federation.” She said as she took another bite of her sandwich “Have there been any threats made to Rom?” She asked “I find this situation facinating and wonder how it is going to affect the rest of the Federation in the long run.”

: : : Natalie nodded as she finished her sandwich “Anything else you can think of that’s going on?” She asked taking a long drink from the glass that was in front of her.

: : “Rumors of assassinations of foreign dignitaries, nothing confirmed. Many of the embassies have closed for the time being, also based on the same rumors.”

: Natalie nodded “Interesting.” She said as she polished off the meal and slid a couple more latinum strips to the barkeep “Thanks for the info.” She said “And thanks for the food…best I’ve had in a while.” Natalie added as she slid off the stool and headed for the door with a slight nod to the security that were standing close by.

Once outside the dive bar, Natalie took in her surroundings once more. She found a secluded corner and opened a comm link to the Bridge of the Asimov. =^=Greer to Tavemer…I need you to have science start doing some research on some things. First have there been any dignitaries other than the Grand Nagus that have gone missing on Feringar in the last several months and what is the story surrounding those disappearances and have several of the embassies on Feringar shut down due to these disappearances.=^= She added and closed the link quickly as a group was approaching her and she moved on her way going toward the government district.
