SNIP

Keegan slowly arises from the deck. “Wha…what happened?”

Murphy, second officer

Rebecca slowly stood up, she touched the top her head and found she was bleeding. Swearing under her breath she walked over to the second officer “We hit a planet.” she said she looked around the bridge. She couldn’t help but wonder if wrecking the ship was going to be a common thing. She hadn’t been on the crew for log at it looked like the crew had gotten through two ships already.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

The banging on the turbolift door continued. “I’m from Engineering! Someone open this turbolift door!” shouted the voice from the other side of the turbolift door.

Wonderful, Idari thought. At least we can fix the stupid ship. No matter that what we really need is a medic, and all we have is an emergency medical supply. Thinking of that, he went and found an additional medkit, in spite of bruised (he knew the difference) ribs and a broken arm. The kit included a cellular regeneration device, but he wasn’t sure whether his broken arm needed to be set. If nothing else, he could at least handle the rib cage. As he opened up the kit single-handedly and grabbed the cellular regenerator, he aimed it at where he believed the bone break to be and activated the device. As he wasn’t passing out from the pain, he was fairly certain that it wasn’t a compound fracture - or, if it was, that the bone hadn’t separated.

Unfortunately, the emergency’s medkit’s cellular regenerator was not powerful enough to knit bones. The best it could do was repair open wounds.

Natalie looked up “Get the door open.” She ordered as she continued to work on the comms station trying to get at least that up and running again.

Zen with the help of NE Nesbit managed to finally open the door. He scowled at the person on the other side. “No matter if you were from engineering or the Ferengi alliance or how much your banged on the door if we were all killed up here as the case may have been no one would have been able to open the door for you.” He told the Engineer and stepped back to let them onto the bridge.

Solit’s pointed ears perked up. Ferengi… something had shown on the sensors right before the crash, but he hadn’t had time to look at the anomalous data before impact. Then he realized - he didn’t have the data on his PADD. He silently swore in Bajoran.

“The tricorder would have indicated otherwise, sir,” replied Crewman Michaels, holding up the tricorder for the Commander to indicate, “But the controls were jammed from the other side.”

It was fortunate that she had been Chief Engineer aboard the Asimov for so many years before she became Captain. “If you’re bleeding, see the First Officer and get treated as much as possible. Once you are half way decent, we will need to start assessing damage to the ship and other crew.” She said “Murphy, I need you to see if you can get external sensors back on line.” She ordered “Work with Commander Solit and see what you can do.” She continued.

CO

“Aye Sir” Keegan walked over to the Commander. “Commander what do we need to get the external sensors back online?”

Murphy, Second Officer

Solit came back to his station at the port side of the bridge, medkit still in hand. “One would imagine that we give it power.” His grimace was made all that much more imposing with the Cardassian and Bajoran features on his dark visage. “Beyond that - I didn’t do much study in conduit design during my tenure at the Academy, and there was little need for computational exploration on the Cowpens. I had a dedicated team for cybernetic and computing research. Still, we would likely need to reroute various computing and power circuits directly to the sensor pallets. Hopefully, since we went to red alert when we were pulled in to the anomaly, the sensor pallets will have at least been physically shielded, and therefore they would be as intact as any other external part of the Asimov.”

“Captain! Crewman Michaels, from Engineering. Main power is offline, we only have one fusion generator available which seem to be at powering the life support systems, computer systems are offline, the EPS system seems to be fried, and most of the systems are offline as well. We haven’t had time to assess the damage to the EPS system, unfortunately. Emergency lights are running off of battery backup.” Michaels watch the Captain tinker with the comms console. “Um, ma’am, I don’t believe with power this low, internal communications is going to come online anytime soon. Assuming if there is no interference that is disabling the comm system, of course… which probably explains why local communications is not working at the moment.”

GM

Natalie looked at Michael’s “It was a pipe dream.” She said and looked at Zen “I need you to get down to main engineering.” SHe said as she stepped off the Bridge and went to her office “Here are three walkie talkies, let’s see if we can get some sort of communication going. Mr. Michael’s go with Zen and help work on getting comms up and life support.”

Zen had returned to treating those injuries he could with the limitations of the medkit. “We should try and get to engineering and get more power to the comms and sensors. Then try and regroup and get an idea of where we are and how we fix this.”

Kaida
XO

GM

Commander Idari walked over to the XO with the other medkit in hand. “Commander Kaida, I require an assessment of the self-repair on my arm, and then I can assist you in any further medical duties.”

Commander Idari Solit

Zen finished sealing a wound on the officer at OPs and turned to look at the scientist as he spoke. “Certainly.” He said and motioned for Idari to show him, carefully he inspected the wound repair visually and then paused, head turned as he heard another voice.

From the open door of the turbolift, a female voice called out, “Nurse Okami from Sickbay. I have medical supplies, would someone give me a hand up please?”

GM

“I’ll be right back,” Zen told his current patient and went to help the nurse up. “Well aren’t we glad to see you.” He said with a rueful smile. He waited until she was standing again and asked. “Got a proper tricorder there and an osteoregenerator?”

Kaida
XO

Natalie looked around the Bridge making sure that others were getting treated. She was thinking three steps ahead of where they were and how they were going to get out of here.” She said.

CO

“Yes Commander, a proper medical tricorder and an osteoregenerator,” said Nurse Okami, pointing the bag she was wearing. “Who needs the osteoregenerator to be used?”

GM

“That would be me,” Commander Idari said, as his broken arm still hung limply at his side.

Keegan goes to find a functional computer to reroute power to sensors.

Murphy, Second Officer

Commander Idari Solit, CSO

Murphy’s journey to find a functional computer would be several decks in Engineering.

“I’ll need you to lay your arm straight out, Commander and try to relax your muscles completely. Unfortunately, we’ll have to ration our medical supplies until the replicators can come back online. So you’ll have to bare with the pain of the osteoregenerator, sir. Please keep completely still while I run the osteoregenerator over the affected area, otherwise the bones might not mend correctly,” said Nurse Okami.

GM

Rebecca had been watching the crew and checking the bridge systems. Everything was trashed. Seeing there wasn’t whole lot she could do she went over to the CO “Where do you want me?” she asked blinking a trickle of blood from her head out of her eye.
