The crew of the Asimov had been given several days of rest and relaxation on the starbase upon their rescue and transport there. Soon, though, a communication chirped across each crew member’s comm badge:

Rebecca was in the closet bar when the call cam.t was her natural habitat when she wasn’t on a mission or on a ship. She didn’t really feel anything for the ship, she hadn’t long joined before it’s destruction. She couldn’t get why people where so upset they where literally building a new Asimov. However the admiral that cased it, she had a special place on Her list, her and the incompetent fools in high command who couldn’t figure out she was a bad one.

Rebecca drained her glass, threw the payment on the table and headed for the conference room. She arrived in short order, went in and wanted for the others.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

Lucas walked in, addressing no one until he sat. After his stray transmission, he figured his career had ended anyway. He had violated the chain of command in about 10 different ways. His psychological analysis of the Admiral was likely only worth so much.

Natalie had already been anticipating this meeting and was already there when the rest of her crew had arrived. She was in her dress uniform and was clearly not happy about the events. She had, fortunately or unfortunately, isolated herself from her crew. She had spent the majority of her down time, researching the Admiral, looking for anything that might give her something to work with. She was behind the entire mess with the attacks, but Natalie had not been able to find anything yet.

She nodded to each of her crew as they entered the conference room. She was indeed grateful that the entire crew had been unharmed, which caused her to wonder why the Admiral had destroyed the other ships and killed the crew.
