“I don’t know. But I do know that I don’t like it. Take us to red alert and put weapons on hot standby.” She said “I don’t trust this woman and I don’t trust Jarrett either.” She said “Carisi get an extra security detail down to sickbay. Place a level 10 forcefield around Jarret’s bio bed and no one comes to see him without my permission.” She said.

She looked at Black “I want all pertinent information on the Starbase that was supposed to be here, what was their primary function. Were they involved in any specific missions that might have made enemies.” She said “I also want to know if there have been any enhancements to the Admiral’s ship.” She said as she took her seat. Her eyes locked onto the Admirals approaching vessel.

“Ship on red alert,” Paris announced as the colored lights went from yellow to red and the klaxons blared out. “Weapons are hot, primed and ready for a target.”

The scans of the admiral’s ship revealed no interesting enhancements. It was a generic Starfleet ship. Records revealed that there was no starbase that had ever existed at this location.

“Um. Sir. I… I don’t know.” He stared at her. “Well at least you’re honest about how useless you are.”
