The doors to Sickbay slid open and two security officers came through with a human male in between them. The CMO followed closely behind. Pointing at the Charge Nurse on duty, he said “Ensign. Biobed. Cardiac patient. Human male. Get me a base line ECG and prep for sedation.”

The charge nurse wandered off obediently to follow the tasks that Vock had set out. The ECG confirmed the tricorder’s results on the bridge; Jarrett’s electrical system had certainly reacted poorly to the phaser blast. She waited next to the biobed with the appropriate sedatives and looked expectantly at the CMO.

One of the Asimov’s other Medical Staff had prepped a Bio-bed for the patient while the charge nurse carried out her tasks. With the bed prepped, he looked at the two security staff. “Put him on here,” he told them.

NE D Howser, Medical

Placing the man on the bed, one of the Security team whispered what happened to the young NE before the both moved to the door in case they were needed.

Vock looked at the biobed scan readings. “Full body scan. Draw blood samples and get a full lab workup. Check for protein inhibitors and sloughing of neural masses, particularly.”

Howser nodded, and reached for the hypo that would draw blood from the man. “So Phaser was set on a simple Taser stun,” the young NE said. “Isn’t it rather odd that that would drop a fit and healthy Starfleet Officer who should have passed all his medicals like a rag doll when the other person hit with it got a tickle in the leg?”
