The idea of negotiations, missing people and dealing with a race known to be secretive and greedy, made her mind shudder with her unease. While she knew today want going to be easy, she had no idea it was going to be this difficult. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : With hearing that Tav may have to join them all in their adventures, a slight smile lot her eyes though she managed to keep it from teaching her lips. Poor man. Something told her he be just as happy to remain in the chair than become part of the away teams. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Lt Persephone Milestone : : : : : : : : : : : : : CSO : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Tavmeer nodded at the Executive officer, he understood what the man wanted. If called Tav would arrive in his Kziniti best, instead of a starfleet uniform. Sometimes one did indeed need to put on a show for those that were watching. Tav leaned against the the back of the chair in thought as the NEs settled the Asimov into station keeping mode, and into her docking space. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Lt(jg) Timbre, Helm, Hazard Team CO : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : While the teams prepared to beam down, or were beamed down to the surface, Tavmeer now in command of the Asimov, settled languidly in the command chair. It was not that he was lax or, lazy, just that why be uncomfortable when he did not have to be. He stifled a yawn, the noise would have not only disturbed the quiet bustle of the bridge at station keeping, but likely would have caused NE Shakey to soil himself yet again. With a turn of his head, Tavmeer surveyed the bridge crew, and nodded his satisfaction. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : LtJg Tavmeer Timbre, Helmsmen, Bridge Commander, CO Hazard Team : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Tavmeer turned towards the NE at the Security station, with an ear twitch. While he did not know what the bleeperloopbeep the station had made indicated, it was likely something he needed to know. NE Senten looked back at Tavmeer and stated, “Nothing Sir, weather is playing merry havoc with tracking the Away teams. It seems the team has entered the Embassy. I am waiting for them to come back up on the screen.” : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Tavmeer did not like the idea. The Captain was gone, the Exec was gone, Former Captain was gone, and the Chief of Security was gone. Turning Pirate was looking better by the second. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : LtJg Tavmeer Timbre, the Guy left in charge. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : “Well, at least there aren’t any hostiles around Ferenginar,” said the NE, “Just picking up cargo traffic… though, seems so few.” : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : GM : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : There was a beeping on a secured comm link =^=Greer to Timbre. Update?=^= She asked as she finished her lunch at the little dive bar. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : CO : : : : : : : Tav looked up at the Captain’s call on the Comm. It had been quiet up here and he was happy about that mostly. She had not used her rank, he wondered if she was keeping that quiet. =^=Timbre here, it is pretty quiet up here, Cargo traffic is a bit lighter than I would have expected, and the Rain is playing with our telemetry on the different projects we are overseeing at the moment=^= : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Ltjg Tavmeer Timbre : : : : : : : : : : : : Natalie nodded =^=Keep a lock on the entire away team. I’m working on gathering some information.=^= She said =^=Has the First officer come down to finalize the transactions?=^= : : : : : : : : : : : : CO : : : : : Tavmeer grunted, of course he had, if the first officer was still here would Tav be in charge. Well aside from the fact that Mason was a weak human, that Tav could turn into a pretzel and dip in mustard. Mmmm Mustard, tav’s belly grumbled, and reminded him it had been a few hours since he had last eaten. Coffee did not fuel the large Kziniti male. Food did. Back to the matter at hand. : : : : : : : : : : =^=Aye Ma’am, I am attempting to, the storm is making it harder to do. All teams are on the ground at this time, as to what they are doing, that is anyone’s guess, be careful, the Calvary is but a call away=^= Tav responded. While he was talking to the Captain, he dashed off a message to NChief Walker to prep the team for possible rescue scenarios. : : : : : : : : : : Lieutenant Junior Grade Tavmeer Timbre, CO of the Hazard Team, Helm, and Currently in Charge : : : : : : : : At that moment, the new Counselor entered the room. He looked around the bridge at the NEs before making his way to the large figure in the captain’s chair. The Counselor missed the fact that he wasn’t the Captain, having come on after the comcall from her had finished. : : : : : : : : “You look nothing like your profile, Captain,” John-King began, and after seeing the sentient feline in the chair, continued on, “… Oh, you aren’t Captain Greer, she is human and you are Cait, my apologies, Lieutenant. I am the new Counselor, John-King McKenzie, I’ll sit over there in my seat and do Counselor-things. You can continue to sit there and do your commanding thing. You are bigger than me, and I suspect you could easily eat me as a light snack and have plenty of room for dessert.” : : : : : : : : Sitting in his assigned Counselor chair, John-King tapped at his console and said, “dessert, I could go an icecream sundae about now …” : : : : : : : : - CNS J-K McKenzie : : : : : : Tav nodded at the Counselor, “No Worries Liuetenant McKenzie, and I am not Cait, I am Kzin and Cait, hence why I am so much bigger than you expected. I am Lieutenant Junior Grade Tavemeer Timbre. The Captain is planetside gathering intel” Tav said while thinking that it was rather wool gatheringly foolish, but it was the Captain’s perogative. “And a Sundae sounds great after a ham sandwich with hot mustard on thick rye bread. I rarely eat members of my own crew, so no worries, and you are at least a light lunch if not a dinner.” : : : : : : Lieutenant Junior Grade Tavmeer Timbre, CO of the Hazard Team, Helm, and Currently in Charge : : : : “What say we catch up in the lounge when we both have downtime and have that ham sandwich with hot mustard on thick rye bread followed by a sundae with perhaps a thickshake to wash it all down?” J-K suggested to the hulking Tavmeer, before turning his attention to the matter at hand, “checking on the status of all decks, Lt JG Timbre,” he added as he tapped at the console on his chair. : : : : - CNS J-K McKenzie : : Tav nodded from his seat and waited for the scans to complete. He knew what the others were doing on the surface, at least in broad strokes, he was the Cavalry. It was about that time that Crewman First Class Tovaritch arrived and set a bag next to the Cait Kzin Hybrid. There were no words exchanged, just a nod between the pair. The bag settled heavily against the carpeted deck, and made sundry clanking and rattling noises as the contents settled. Tav used his left foot to pull the bag over tighter against the chair and secure it somewhat against anything untoward that might happen suddenly. It was about that time that he eyed the Counselor warily, the man had button holed him fairly easily into some sort of Evaluable situation, Tav was certain of it. Tav nodded and gave the man a knowing wink, that might have interpreted as well played as he went back to looking over the command read outs. : : LtJg Tavmeer
John-King smiled innocently at the Cait Kzin hybrid before winking back at him, and then turned back to waiting for the calls to come back from all decks.
:
: =^=Greer to Tavemer…I need you to have science start doing some research on some things. First have there been any dignitaries other than the Grand Nagus that have gone missing on Feringar in the last several months and what is the story surrounding those disappearances and have several of the embassies on Feringar shut down due to these disappearances.=^= She added and closed the link quickly.
:
: CO
On hearing the dulcet tones of the Captain (he had never spoken to her, but he knew the captain had the surname of Greer from the crew manifest), John-King sent a further request to the Science Labs. He knew that the CSO and some of the scientists were on Ferenginar, but there should probably be someone left there who could run the search, or he could himself.
=^= Bridge to Science Labs, please come in, =^= John-King said, hoping to get something other than crickets.
- CNS

Tavmeer listened to the CNS make his request of the Science Department, and waited for a response. The biggest part of command was looking commanding while waiting. The only part that betrayed Tavmeer’s current impatience was the slow staccato tap of the tip of his tail as it swished over the carpeted floor. His blue eyes watched the readouts, or the crew as he waited.
