Dear USS Asimov Crew,

The time has come.

As I’m sure you’ve all noticed, activity has dropped and dropped. With the health of the club and the continuing activity of the ships in better condition in mind, we are in the dying days of the USS Asimov. The ship will soon be decommissioned. This is and has been a great ship. I will miss her. I will miss the days of exchanging tags with all of you and knowing that my friends were here at the end of any day to be a continuing creative safety net. No matter how much time passes those memories will always be a treasure.

Thank you for your time, thank you for your writing, and I look forward to seeing you in all our other ships.

A little late to the party but I was on a LOA that went longer than expected. I want everyone to know that this was not an easy decision for us, but it is the right one at this time.

I too thank you for your contributions to the ship. I have bene on the Asimov previously, but having Shara here has been so wonderful and it’s been a great joy at times getting to explore such a complicated character through her interactions with others.

If you need help figuring out what to do with your character, please let myself or Sage, or the PDept know and we’ll be happy to help.
