1. Multiple DNA matches from the first murder. The FedAec agent’s (expected), and the other a circus performer named Vigliad Casperian, Strong man. The FedSec agent was stabbed repeatedly.
2. The Intel agent was killed on their way home after transporting the egg. They were tortured and killed by being bent slowly in half backwards; possibly over a rounded object like a pipe or a bar.
3. The Intel Agent is missing a ring that was there when the body was discovered and sent to the morgue; but is now gone.
4. There is a possible connection between the FedSec agent and the circus performer, but FedSec has sealed the file and it can only be opened by a FedSec Senior Agent.

Stepping on the bridge Varen looked for the Captian his eyes a bit tired from the time spend going through the data, “We have an initial assesment when your ready Captain” he noted.

Adrian followed Jorath onto the bridge with the CMO Izei. He stood by quietly and let the senior officers speak.

OOC: Ryan had to cut back on some characters, so sadly we’ve lost our CSO. We’ll do our best to carry on while we hunt for a couple more DHs. Let’s be active in sharing info and just assume we all know more than we individually found out.

Just then, Calloway stepped onto the bridge, her mind swimming with the details of her investigation so far. There was more to do, but she couldn’t stay down tehre staring at a screen. She had hit a momentary glitch where the details weren’t jumping out at her and she wanted to see how others were making out.

As she stepped off the turbolift, she found herself right before one the junior doctors. It was unusual for doctors to be on the bridge without an obvious patient and he seemed to looking for someone. “How can I help, Doctor?”

Adrian looked around a bit uncertainly, he had been left up here by himself to give the update. He held out his datapad with the search results as well as the autopsies.
“Uh, Commander. These are the search results from the autopsy and subsequent records search. We ran into, I believe humans call it, ‘a brick wall’, when we tried to find out the connection between the FedSec agent and this circus performer. The file is sealed. We thought it was prudent to come and inform you and the Captain of our findings. There is also a missing ring, though there is no evidence that it has any bearing but it is odd.”

Shara skimmed the info. “Hmm, well at least one these I can definitely help with,” she said, tapping her commbadge. =/\=Bridge to Agent Pikelsimer. We need you up here.=/\= She didn’t call him as herself, since this wasn’t a husband and wife situation, but a professional one.

=/\= On my way. =/\= came the expected terse response. A few minutes later, the turbolift doors and the former-Marine-turned-FedSec Agent strode onto the bridge. He looked around and then walked up to the XO. “You rang?” he said with a grin, and then crossed his one flesh and one metal arm on his chest.

Adrian looked over the Fed Sec Agent over curiously as he tried to remain in the background so he wouldn’t be sent off and could maybe hear what was going to happen next. He certainly would like to be more involved in movement on the case.

Shara moved back over to where the info was and gestured with a flourish. “We’re getting somewhere, but we’re blocked. However, we just happen to have the right sort of person to unblock our progress, so I’m hoping you’re willing to to at least look at the sealed file and tell us if there is anything useful.” Shara held up a finger. “Though I am aware that if you do so, that might tip our hand. So we should perhaps pro/con the idea.”

Pikelsimer nodded and walked over to the display. He looked at the file encryption and designation, and then said “It’s an operational report file for a currently open case. Only people that can review it are the Operations Director, assigned analyst or analysts, a FedSec Senior Agent… of which there are only five hundred at any time, and most of them are rather busy… and the Director of FedSec herself. And after the previous hullabaloo with security breaches and convert agents in the Intel arenas, I can say that these things are kept really secure. So my personal take? We can open it without anyone outside of those few being the wiser. But that’s just my opinion, a’course. I’m just here to assist y’all as needed.”

Shara drew in a breath and nodded. “Well, your opinion has value, so I think it’s worth the potential risk. Right now we have a whole lots of puzzle pieces but not a lot to tie things together. We need more pieces right now.” She gestured to the console. “So, by all means, do what you can.”

Pikelsimer nodded and opened the file, looking at it privately for a few minutes. Finally he nodded and put it on the main viewer.

“FedSec is investigating a series of murders and thefts. Antiquities, mostly human and mostly late 19th and early 20th century.” he said. “All told so far they have forty-five thefts and sixteen murders seemingly linked to some of them. The deceased Agent had filed this report two days before he was killed. He had word from a CI that one of the stolen items, a Fabergé egg, was being moved via a traveling circus.”
