Yolan was happy to be on another ship, all the new experiences that were yet to be discovered and new people to learn exciting things from. Yolan had many stops to make today as he got acquainted with the ship but his first stop needed to be with the Executive Officer. As he moved thought the corridors, he seemed to get some strange looks from the crew that he passed. He smiled and tried to show them the creatures he used to take care of some medical issues. Yolan believed that some issues needed a special touch that he could provide above a laser scalpel or hypospray.

Yolan had turned around to see something that caught his eye in the corridor when he bumped into someone, dropping one of his cages that popped open. As he turned around he said, “I am very sorry for bumping into you” and moved to pick up his Regulan Blood Worms.

Shara Calloway stumbled to the side and then froze, holding her hands out to the side as the Denobulan crouched to retrieve his… pets.? Instruments? She wasn’t sure quite how she would classify them, but she also wasn’t about to accidentally step on one. “If you wanted to speed up our meeting each other, you could have just asked,” she deadpanned.

Shara was fairly tall for a Human female, and cut a lean figure in her uniform- red division colours and three solid pips narrowing down her identity significantly. She didn’t look her age, but then again she was still older than the other Humans on board. Her nondescript brown hair was sculpted into a soft roll at the back of her head and she gazed at him intently with foggy blue eyes. Eyes that missed very little.

The Denobulan was very careful when picking up his blood worms; these were going to be critical to one of the experiments he planned for. After the last one was safely stowed away in its cage, Yolan stood up, shifting the cages in his arms and looked straight at the Commander

After a second, Yolan said, “I am Lieutenant Yolan, the new Chief Medical Officer.” While his grin beamed ear to ear

She grinned as well, though hers was naturally smaller. “I know,” she said simply, clearly amused. “Shara Calloway, first officer.” She gestured to the worm carrier. “Did you have a destination for these? We can walk and talk before you go see Captain Kiernan.”

Yolan knew she knew who he was, to recap an expression he learned quite quick at the academy, he thought, ‘I stick out like a sore thumb.’ The Denobulan always wondered why people thought that as a sore thumb could be fixed quickly with no pain but who knows

Looking at Shara, Yolan stated, “I am en route to the Medical Labs to deposit my little creatures here.” As he referred to the cages.
