After leaving the transporter room, Shara beelined for home. She stepped into their space and immediately knocked on his officer door. But rather than go in, she moved over to their living room sofa and sat down, stretching her legs out and crossing them at the ankle. Because she didn’t request to come in, this was their sign they needed to talk. As she sat there, her mind was buzzing.

The door stayed closed for a moment after she sat and then slid open. Micah was dressed in dark blue tactical pants and a black t-shirt that seemed to make his muscular build look all the more solid. On the t-shirt were red letters that said ‘I Have 2 Beautiful Daughters. I Also Have A Gun, A Shovel, And An Alibi.’ He walked towards Shara and took a seat in the chair next to the couch and leaned back, eyes locked on her. “What’s up?” he asked plainly, but there was a tell-tale glint in his eye that she knew spoke of mischief on some level.
