USS Asimov
Shuttle Bay - New Arrivals
Mwezi bounced slightly just outside the shuttle bay, his emotions a turbulent mix of excitement and anxiety. Excitement because his beloveds were so close, nearly close enough for his empathic senses to pick them up, as the shuttle approached. Anxiety because he didn’t know how they’d adjust to life on a Starfleet ship, how similar it would be to their time on the Leviathan. Although, he supposed it might be easier for them on the Asimov, due to the significantly lower amount of classification on this vessel compared to the Levi. Regardless, he waited, settling down onto his heels for a moment. Doing so made the man notably shorter, his feet making up at least a foot of his height. Ha. He chuckled at the unintended pun.
~within the shuttle~
Kula watched as her Promised snored peacefully beside her on the bench. Shilo could sleep through just about anything, she thought with an amused chuckle. Her empathic senses caught a twinge of nervous excitement from beyond the shuttle, and she smiled in anticipation. They were close. Kula stood and approached the front of the shuttle, sitting in the unoccupied co-pilot seat and watching through the view-screen as they approached what was to soon be her new home. The Asimov. It was a beautiful ship, she had to admit.
“Preparing to dock,” the pilot spoke into the comms, receiving instructions from the controller within the shuttle bay a moment later.
