Aasrel laughed. “We don’t want that,” he said. Then he moved towards the bathroom, pulling her with him. “Speaking of our habit, it’s time now if we want to have plenty of time.”

Bethany liked the way he pulled her along with him, gentle and insistent. She liked that he flirted outrageously with her too, but in a subtle quiet way that left her wanting to see more of it. “There is never going to be enough time, Rel.” It was true, no matter how much time they had, there would never be enough.

Aasrel turned to give her a look. Then they disappeared into the bathroom.

Over half an hour later, Aasrel came out of the bathroom in a towel. “Maybe I should wear something outrageous,” he said, looking at Bethany mischievously.

Bethany, also wrapped in a towel, paused and gave him a long once over and grinned. “Well I would say that you could be completely outrageous and wear nothing at all, but what exactly did you have in mind?”

“We may not technically be Starfleet, but I don’t think the crew would appreciate that,” Aasrel laughed. He shrugged then, “I dunno. Just not a plain white polo. We’re supposed to be pirates and that’s the best I could come up with.”
