Laila took the paper. Read it. “I will be there.” She wanted to ask where this was the address to. However Rhee didn’t seem to like to be questioned. “Um…is there anything I need to do to prepare for our meeting. I don’t do well with surprises.” She was thinking back to when she first initially entered the Holosuite and things did not go as she expected.

“No.” Rhee leaned in, her gaze intense. “You want to learn courage and combat skills? I can teach you the combat skills, but courage comes by how you react. learn to suppress your fear and channel it, or else you’ll always be a defenceless girl. You want help? Help yourself first.”

She thought about the advice Rhee gave. Learn to suppress your fear and channel it. Laila didn’t know the first thing about it. Where would she even start? “I…I…” Laila didn’t know what to say. “I will meet you at 10 a.m. I won’t be late.”

Rhee looked doubtful but at the same time didn’t dismiss Dacascos. She gave a nod and simply spun on her ball of her foot and headed towards the back.

The next day when Laila arrived. She felt ready, but she didn’t know what expect. It was impossible to know what kind of hell Rhee would put her through but she was determined to be tough…whatever that meant. As she arrived at the meeting spot she shouted in an attempt to muster the energy she thought Rhee would want to see in her, “Rhee! I am here! And I am ready! Let’s go!”
