Micah was changing. His persona for the off -ship time was one of a mercenary. He bronzed his skin, dyed his hair and extended the length, tying it back in a pony tail. His normal clothes were traded for ballistic and energy mesh backed leathers. His hip had a disruptor on it, and over his cybernetic arm was a synth-sleeve that would fool scanners to read biological. He checked his look in the mirror and said “Harrison Boyd. Harrison Boyd. Harrison Boyd.” over and over again until he got the accent right. He looked at Sha and said “Check cross-check. Harrison Boyd. Merc. Last six months on Gorellia Prime with Shadow Eclipse Company out of V’tol.”, asking her to inspect his cover and look. That singular gesture spoke volumes as to how much he trusted her.

Pikelsimer, FedSec

She hadn’t changed yet and would do so shortly, but she strode over and circled him, her eyes narrowing as she took in the details. Shara said nothing and moved behind him, loosening the ponytail just a fraction. It didn’t look messy but it looked a little less like it mattered to him. She moved her hands to his shoulders and pushed down on his shoulders bit. “When you walk, sink your weight into you heels a bit and sometimes puling the shoulders down can help with that posture as you walk. In fact, walk it Boyd. And tell me who runs the Company and what you’re doing here now.” This was her thing, her speciality. That and finding and taking information.

~Shara Calloway, CIO

He shifted and walked back and forth. “Company is run by an insipid and stupid little piece of s#!t named Franklin. Sniveling little weasle wasting solid merc talent to line his own pockets.” All of which was actually true. “I was on-task on V’trol and the company didn’t deliver payroll. Not my fault it got ‘jacked. Probably shoulda paid the escort better. Came to the Cloud to find a gig. Now I’m backing up-” and he looked at her and pointed.

P- er, Boyd

“Elaine Calloway, private dealer in many things. But hold that thought, she’s been busy for a minute,” she said, slipping away into the bedroom.

It didn’t take her long to emerge and not all that much had changed in fact. Her hair was still the same but loose, and she wore heeled boots (those these went to her knee), however the more casual cargo pants or trousers with turtlenecks or suede vests were gone. Instead, she wore high waisted slim black leggings with leather strips and a leathercrop top that had a high neck and full sleeves. She was fully covered except for the bit of skin at the sides where the buckles were. One was still undone. She was carrying weapons but they were well concealed.

“Boyd, baby, do me up?” she said, strutting over, her voice more or less the same but with an ever so slightly lighter lilt. She turned so he could do the buckle and gave him an innocent look.

~Elaine

“Again? You got the appetites of a Klingon, woman.” and he fastened the buckle. “I know a few here, if you lookin’ to pack a few crates. Intrested?”

Boyd

“Depends on the rate and the trail. Anyone I would rather not deal with? After that mess at Sukadray I don’t need any more bullsh!t coming my way. I do have my standards after all,” Elaine said.

She took a couple steps away with a slight swing of her hips and spun looking back at him. “Check me, darlin’?” she said, using terms of endearment she rarely did, encouraging him to give her the same eval she had given him.

~Elaine

He looked at her for a moment, walking around her and casting an appraising eye. He moved a buckle so her hold-out piece wouldn’t get snagged on it if she had to draw it, and he moved one blade from the inside to the outside of her boot leaving the handle sticking up and visible. “Let’s ‘em know you can handle yourself.” Boyd said and then stepped back. “Walk it. Talk it.”

Boyd

Shara Calloway was a confident woman who understood and was comfortable with her body. This allowed her to adjust tiny things about the way she carried herself to effect subtle changes. Shara could saunter to cause an effect, but Elaine moved with a subtle roll of her hips as her heels struck the deck. A hand placed on her hip with her fingers splayed. She turned back to gaze at Boyd, her eyes both narrowed and exceptionally observant. “They won’t know here just how good I am at collecting things. I think we can use that to our advantage. I have a few contacts elsewhere that would been keen on info out of here. They’ll pay a good price too.” She broke into a dangerous grin, her foggy blue eyes lighting up. “Or they’ll be convinced to.”

~Elaine

Boyd grinned. “You set ‘em up, babe. I’ll knock ‘em down if they get too friendly.” and he chuckled. “Reminds me of that time you were in that Dreglinisan dive bar and that Naussican thought you looked tasty.” He walked past her and slapped her ass. “C’mon. Let’s get goin’. I need some new guns.” and he opened the door and walked out, not even looking at her.
