Welcome to The Cloud!

I have put this part in to give you something I have always wanted as a player. A chance to kind of ‘freely’ develop my character’s personality and enrich their history a bit within the confines of a sim.

You all have one full day to explore, talk, make friends, make enemies, fall in love or go to jail… whatever you want. Take the chance and run with it like your own little side-sim within the Main Sim.

Some background: The Cloud is a wholly corrupt and lawless station owned and operated by the Orion Syndicate. It is a hub of black marketeers, smugglers, mercenaries, hackers, thieves, and any other illicit profession you can think of. The only rule is the one left standing is right. Now, that doesn’t mean you can just go around and kill with impunity. Far from it. To be successful here, you have to have a reputation… or carry yourselves like you do. For anyone who ever played the Mass Effect video games, this is the ST equivalent of Omega station from the second game. Anything you want can be found here, but you gotta have the means to pay for it and replicator credits and such don’t cut it. Cash is king, after all.

I will be reading your side threads and interjecting here and there if you want. If you want to just write your own side-quest, go right ahead. But if I can help in anyway, just send me a message. Today is the 6th. I will move the Main Sim ahead on the 20th, and from there it’s going to be moving to the sim’s conclusion pretty quickly. So you have two weeks. Have fun!

I think Paddy seems like the kind of counsellor that would always try to make friends first, regardless of how well it actually turns out, I’d appreciate the oppourtunity to write with you if I get a Side Sim started?
