It had been rough goings. For a while. They had long since ditched the uniforms, and Sara thought the crew could use a distraction. A message went out to the whole crew. =/\=An important simulation will be taking place on the holodeck tonight at 19:00 hours. Everyone is invited to participate.=/\= She thought that was cryptic enough the spies might even approve.

By 19:00 the holodeck was done up like the promenade of Earth Spacedock, draped in a thorough coating of festive lights, with a sizeable buffet to boot. Sara thought a touch of home was in order and this might just do the trick.

She dressed more femininely than was typical of her, in a simple black dress, but to see her in a dress at all might come as a shock to the crew. She stood in the middle of her holodeck creation and hoped people accepted their invitations.

Laila entered the Holosuite dressed in her Christmas finest, a stylish ugly Christmas sweater that had a huge snowman which had black pom poms for its eyes, and buttons. With her sweater she paired a black pleated skirt and wore knee high red Christmas socks adorned in snowflakes and black boots that extended just over her calf. Her hair was pulled into a high bun and she had on little tiny snowflake earrings. She saw the Captain and approached her. “It looks amazing in her,” she said with a wide grin. She observed the dress Sara was wearing and said, “I think I might have gone a little overboard in my outfit.” She grimaced a little then said, “You can probably tell it has been a while since I have been able celebrate Christmas.”
