‘Elaine’ Calloway stepped into the transporter room. Of course she was still going by Shara. There wasn’t enough time to be fully immersive but Elaine was the woman she had conjured and she seemed to be finding a groove with the personality. In her rib-like grey leather jacket and black leather leggings, she carried a phaser rifle that was beyond standard issues. Modifications were fun! Nothing crazy, but her kit came with some fun toys. Some were stashed on her person along with more weapons and for the most she was just hoping they wouldn’t need them.

She nodded to NE Ridad as she sauntered up to the transporter pad. “Where are you dropping us?” she asked the operator. Having studied the information given to her ahead of time, she had mapped out several routes to the weapons stores they were raiding. All they could hope was that people stayed out of their way. Unlikely but in that eventuality, she was fully prepared to take the shots. Better her than the others under the circumstances. She had enough demons, what was one more?

Ridad nodded to Calloway. He had already given orders and they were waiting. Some lounging some hyped up. He let them work their nerves out however needed, as long as it wasn’t disruptive. They all knew Calloway was in charge here. She was the expert and had the experience to back it up. They all had wearable tricorder with heads up displays, phaser rifles hanging on their shoulders, type two holstered and type ones hidden. And everyone had some type of hand to hand weapon. Though using them was a last resort. They might have to be convincing and they would, but no one wanted to hurt these people they were sworn to protect. They also had a few tools and surprises packing too. With any luck Gadi would be able to get into the freighters system and make it easier.

He stepped over to Calloway and handed her a handful of isochips. “Cmdr Gadi programmed them as locators for the transporters. Just slap one on and the ops guy’s will beam out whatever we want.”

Calloway gave a crisp nod and stowed the chips securely. “Medium to hard stun. I know this isn’t what any of us wants to be doing but we’re not going to succeed if they think we don’t mean business. Anyone gets in our way we take them down quick. Get in and get out with our supplies. That’s the goal,” she said as she activated her own form of a HUD.

“Standard offensive formation,” she said, turning outwards and expecting the others to do a same so they covered all angles as they were beamed in. If she was nervous or uncertain there wasn’t a shred of it visible. Shara was all business.
