Paddy was not looking forward to this counselling session… With the mission going the way it was, and the deflective nature Agent Pikelsimer had shown to the entire crew of the Asimov thus far meant that McMillan wasn’t completely sure of how successful this counselling session was going to be. Nonetheless, since he began his training at Starfleet Academy following his father’s assimilaton, he knew from experience that not every counselling job was so straight foward. All part of the service you provide Paddy m’boy, the young Irishman thought to himself with a sigh as he tapped his combadge, “=^= McMillan to Agent Pikelsimer, would you care to join me in my office? =^=”

It was less than two minutes later that the door opened and Pikelsimer stood in the doorway.

He was not happy.

“So tell me, Doc… what part ‘a head-shrinker school did they teach you to belittle and mock people for their concerns in front of their peers, huh? And after you answer me that, you can give me a reason not to punch you in your Blarney Stone kisser.” He leaned against the door frame, refusing to let it close, and crossed his arms across his chest.

“I wasn’t aware that I was belittling or mocking you, but feel free to take a seat and we can discuss your issue with me further.” Paddy kept a cool head through much of his opening salvo, not wanting to give the Agent the satisfaction of losing his temper.
