With meditative and precise motions, Shara wrapped the tape around her hands, securing it firmly but to too tight. She dropped the roll of tape onto the bench and then moved over to the mat with the kick bag. Shorts, a t-shirt and trainers on, Shara was here for a workout and a bit of stress relief. In this case, it meant beating the crap out of something. The holosuite was set up for an open training time, so the program was a basic gym one where people could use the machines and weights, or use the extensive mats for other exercise.
Bouncing on her toes and shaking out the tension in her legs and shoulders, she struck out with a solid punch. It moved the bag only a little but she wasn’t aiming for damage, just precision. Eyes laser focused, she still maintained her awareness of any people who might join her. A side kick made the bag move more and she smiled and she rolled her shoulders, feeling the stress slowly seep out.

A few minutes later the doors to the holodeck swished open and the red-headed First Officer walked onto the holodeck as well. Unlike Calloway, Enai wasn’t dressed in usual gym clothes. Instead she was wearing white dancing tights; a black, sleeveless leotard, a black ballet skirt and pink ballet slippers. And in her hand she carried a water bottle and a small back. Spotting Shara, and not wanting to interrupt or distract her, she greeted her with a warm smile and a slight nod of the head before heading towards the stretch of wall that had a ballet bar and mirror attached to it. Putting her bag and the water bottle onto the floor, she positioned herself in the middle of the bar, facing the mirror and started to do her warm- up exercises.
~Cmdr. Enai, XO
Calloway didn’t miss the entrance of the XO, and while she didn’t ignore her, she also didn’t intentional draw attention to Enai, knowing that command staff had an awkward habit of being avoided by the juniors. Shara couldn’t care less what rank a person was and judged them on their actions. A person’s position and rank didn’t intimidate her. Thus, she gave Siadra a nod of her own and went back to punching at the bag. After getting into a rhythm, she rocked back and struck out with her foot, the sole of her shoes slamming with a thud. Somehow she found herself amused by the contrast her her beating the crap out of the bag and Enai being all graceful and stuff. But Shara felt this was a clear way for her to shed at least some of the stress, even though buried deeper was a severe sense of overwhelm. Luckily for her and everyone, she was too skilled to let it overtake her.
