After her conversation with Si’Rek and a quick stop in her office to take care of some pressing duties, Siadra was now standing in front of the door leading into Sickbay. Just far enough away that she wouldn’t trigger the door to open. But close enough that one more step forward would suffice to do that. After taking a couple of deep breaths, she did just that and then continued walking through the doors into Sickbay. Looking around the room, she searched for the Lieutenant Senek. Of course she knew that every doctor on board would be able to help her. But the Chief Medical Officer had not only done her boarding evaluation which meant she was already familiar with her medical file. But she also knew about their new mission. So she wouldn’t have to pretend that this was coming out of the blue.

When Senek saw the Commander, she quickly handed off her PaDD to another doctor she had been speaking to and broke off to meet Enai by the door. “Good afternoon, Commander. Is there something you need help with?”

“Good afternoon, Doctor. I hope so. Can we maybe talk in private?” Siadra asked, her voice just above a whisper. She was smiling and her appearance and demeanour were absolutely professional. But there was something just underneath the surface that was hinting at the fact that things weren’t as good as she tried to make it seem around the crew.
