The twins were getting bigger and more developed at what felt to their mother like an alarming rate. Of course it was only natural for a Ktarian child of 4 months to resemble a human child of 12 months, but it was still alarming to Allison, who had never raised a half-Ktarian child before. And so here she was in Sickbay with two feisty toddlers, trying to keep them both calm while also waiting for the doctor to be ready to see them.
