Bethany had been going over the ship specs and crawling through Jeffries tubes for a couple of days. The problem for setting up a secure area for the children and non crew civilians was Bethany had no idea what modifications would be made to the ship once they arrived at the station. And the only people who might be able to tell her we’re Pikelsimer or Blue.=^=Gadi to Blue. If you have a moment I have some questions I’m hoping you can answer.=^=

=/\= Of course, Commander. Where would you like me to meet you? =/\= came a replay after a few seconds.
GM
=/\=My office, please=/\= When Blue would arrive he would find Gadi leaned back against the edge of her desk, arms crossed, looking at a large display of the ship’s schematics on the largish screen on her wall. The desk was against a far wall, there were a couple of chairs, and then a crate with a lot of high tech equipment. When he approached the door Gadi tapped a button on her desk and the door opened for him before he could tap the chime. “Lt Blue, come in. I have a problem and I’m hoping you can help me find a solution.”
Gadi
“Anything to assist, Commander.” he said as the door slid closed. He walked closer to her and said “So what is the problem?”
GM
“So before this mission got started I was talking with the XO and the fact for such a small ship we have civilian family members on board.” Gadi reached over and hit a button locking the office door and then placed a small black geometric shape on her desk and with a quick touch of a sequence activated it blocking any chance of being over heard. They weren’t to the station yet and the regular crew wasn’t to be informed. “The idea was to designate and create a safe rally point for all the non-crew members. Now with the mission outlined I need some input, I can’t just pick whatever I want. I don’t want to pick somewhere that will be in the way of anything or anywhere modifications will be made or where vital equipment might be placed. My first thought is here,” and Gadi points to a large jefferies tube junction between decks 3 and 4. “It’s large enough to hold everyone, and there is space behind the ladder to put a small container that holds food, water, and a few essentials for those there. All the tubes here have access hatches and it’s a short crawl to the nearest escape pod. It’s also middle of the ship so less risk of being hurt if we’re hit. It will go a long way to help the crew adjust as well, knowing their family is in a safe, secure location. Not everyone can just turn off those attachments, so if we can make it easier for them to focus on the task…”
