Gadi considered a moment. “When considering the performance of the security department what are you happy with and what do you want to see improved?”

“I wish I could answer that question,” Siadra replied honestly. “I have been here only a very short time and haven’t been able to observe the security department, or any department really. Not much anyway. I did get a glimpse when I arrived on the planet where the Asimov had crash-landed and from that I can say that they seem to do their duties very well. I’m sorry. I wish I could give you a better answer,” she continued, her voice and expression slightly apologetic.

Bethany shrugged in acceptance. “We shall find out soon enough then. I almost prefer your answer because it allows me to look at them with unbiased eyes and preconceived notions. It will work itself out quickly.”
