Knowing that Liara would be with Si’Rek today, Siadra had scheduled her psychological evaluation. So after leaving Engineering, or being gently kicked out of Engineering, really, she made her way straight towards deck 5 and the office of the new ship’s counsellor. Arriving with just about two minutes to spare, she straightened her ponytail and uniform jacket before pressing the chime and waiting to be called inside.

As the chime sounded, Lieutenant Patrick McMillan made the final adjustments to his quarters before admitting his new XO. The young Irishman was eager to make a good impression with the senior staff as he had only been on board the Asimov for a few days now, however he was eager to get to know every member of the crew as best as he could. After adjusting a pillow around five times, he grinned, straightened his uniform jacket and called, “Come on in Commander. Take a seat when you’re ready.”

Even before the doors slipped open in front of her, the empath could sense McMillan’s eagerness and also nervousness. Not surprising for a young officer like him. As Enai entered his office, she greeted him with a warm smile and let her gaze wander through the room for a moment. The way an office looked usually told her a lot about the person who occupied it. “Hello Counsellor, thank you for taking the time to do my psychological evaluation,” she greeted him warmly as she took a seat in one of the arm chairs that seemed to be part of the standard furniture in every Counsellor’s office.

“I owe you my thanks as well, I didn’t think I could check in with myself,” He winked and got down to business, “So, how do you think the mission went?”

-Lieutenant Patrick McMillan: Counsellor-

Leaning back in the armchair, Siadra replied, “Well, I’ve been here only for the last bit of the last mission. My posting as First Officer started with being sent after the Asimov into the anomaly with equipment and material in the hope that the ship was still in mostly one piece and the crew alive so that they could repair the ship with what I brought and return. Thankfully it all worked out as it should and from my observations I can say that the crew did a good job.”

Paddy smiled warmly, then cocked an eyebrow for a moment before asking, “I’ve only heard bits and pieces about what happened with the anomaly, care to enlighten me?” This question wasn’t entirely in line with the counselling session, but Paddy was eager to know what had gone on around the ship before he arrived..
