Liara was bouncing down the corridor and tugged at her mother’s hand as she tried to get to Engineering as fast as possible. Si’Rek had promised her the night before that he would show her everything! She was still nervous and homesick, but right now she was mostly excited. The moment the doors into Engineering came into side, she let go of her mother’s hand and ran off. But almost instantly after slipping through the doors, the little girl stopped dead and her nervousness took over again as she saw all those strangers.
