USS Ark Angel
Main Sick Bay 1 - Deck 12 - CMO's Domain
Lieutenant Do’trahk walked into the sickbay and paused a moment to look around, this wasn’t the first time he had been in a Federation sickbay but the brightness always slightly unsettled him. Klingon vessels were darker, so that a warriors senses were not dulled by a false sense of security, but the Federation preferred to shine bright lights on everything, and everything was always so clean. Another slight sneer escaped his lips as he reflected on that piece, he had taken to bathing regularly to get used to the process, not that Klingons were unclean, but it was more of a risk to let yourself be so vulnerable, unarmed and unarmored as it were. The Federation had different expectations and as was his role now, he had to meet them, although he silently cursed his brothers name as he imagined that Khain would love this, the man was far more accepting of other ways and even seemed to revel in them while losing none of his Klingon loyalty or honor.

: : : : : : : : : Part of his role now was to meet the crew under his command, and the Lieutenant moved to the door of his Office and entered his own security codes, identifying him as the new CMO and assigning the computer to his control and oversight here.
: : : : : : : : :
: : : : : : : : : =/\= All Medical Staff =/\= he said into the comm system, opened and directed at his medical team, his voice strong and loud as any good Klingon would be proud to have, pronouncing each word clearly so the Federations did not misunderstand him. =/\= Report to Sickbay One and your new Chief Medical Officer, immediately. Disobedience will not be tolerated. =/\= And then he closed the comm system and looked around at the office, it would need some adjustments but that could wait until later. For now, the big Klingon exited the office and stood in the Sickbay waiting the arrival of the medical staff.

: : : : : : : : Nurse Sem had been at the nurses station located on deck 39 in the engineering hull when the call came through. As it was a general call out he didn’t respond simply turned quickly made his was to the nearest turbolift. He had a feeling his new boss didn’t take kindly to dawdling. “Deck 12. Sickbay 1,” he called out his destination. Soon the lift was off and whirring.

: : : : : : : : A few minutes later and he arrived at his destination. He left the lift and made his way to sick bay 1. The doors whooshed open and he gave a quick glance around as he entered. No one else had arrived. He came sharply to attention. “Ensign Jibiri Sem, reporting as ordered, Sir!”

: : : : OOC: Also waiting for Dr Trax Suder as well here, apologies for the wait time :P
: : : :
: : : : IC: Do’trahk watched the man a moment, recognizing him from the transport that had delivered him to the Ark Angel. “Good, I have been waiting” he stated, and the tone was slightly that of an accusation. Or maybe it was just the way that he emphasized each word in English so that there could be no mistake of what he was saying. It could be slightly hard to tell although the large Klingon was feeling some distrust of the Deltan nurse.

: : : : “At least you seem to be far more able to obey an order than your fellow crew members” he said, the single eye narrowing slightly as he spoke, and he stepped close to a nearby Bio-bed and seemed to glare at it before turning back to the Deltan. “Report” he said, stepping back towards him and fixing the man with his one good eye. “Tell me what is the status of this Department, what is our current situation.”

: : : Trax was on his way back to medical as the com went off with a bunch of messages going off at once so all the messages were garbled at his current location as other officers noticed the same issue as they reported the problem to engineering and the bridge. Trax continued to medical as he was a few feet away from the doors as he heard an unfamiliar voice. Trax sighed hard before the doors open and he entered the room. As he moved towards the others in the room. He was about to speak but stopped as he waited for the others to finish their comments. “I am sorry I am late I was all over the ship dealing with medical concerns and needs. I am Ensign Trax Suder Junior Officer Doctor. Nice to meet you sir”! as he closed enough to give the new officer a handshake.” Trax said with a straight neutral face. looking totally exhausted.

: : The large Klingon simply looked at the mans hand like it was some offending yet insignificant weapon pointed in his direction, and his lip rose in a snarl. His single eye rose to glare at the young doctor. “Ensign Suder, admirable service record and holder of the McCoy Medical award for… something” he said, sounding not at all impressed. “I am your Chief Medical Officer, not your friend. I expect a report on those medical needs all over the ship by the time you finish your shift, today, Doctor Suder. I was not aware that the state of the Ark Angel crews health was so, fragile, gentlemen, that you become exhausted by simply carrying out your daily duties.” His eye moved from Suder to Sem and back. “Unless your discipline is lacking or you yourselves are unreliably fragile. Hmmm, I may need to schedule physical exercise duties for this crew to increase physical stamina and the ability to cope under stress.”
: :
: : He glanced and Suder and grinned, “I will make sure, Doctor Suder, that the crew is aware of your dedication to their health and that the extra physical exercise requirement is a result of your work to keep them healthy, all over the ship, making you late for meetings with your Department Head due to their fragile physical state.”
: :
: : “I am Lieutenant Do’trahk of House Kholl” the big, bald and bead bearded Klingon introduced himself, a closed fist held over his Klingon House Sash and the other hand resting on the hilt of his dagger. “You I have met, Nurse Sem” he said, nodding at the small Deltan in recognition. “I am an Exchange Officer assigned to this Federation Starship from the Klingon Defense Force, and I am familiar with your Starfleet rules and regulations, and I expect discipline and commitment to duty. Do you have any questions?” he stated the last sentence as more of a series of individual, emphasized words rather than one flowing course or prose.

Ensign Trax was not sure what to say about this new officer and his ways. But he was sure that this will not go down good with the others. “Sir! I was not aware there were doctors in the imperial fleet sir! I knew of science and other divisions but a Doctor?? ” Trax said calmly to the massive officer. “Yes, sir I have met Nurse Sem. He seems to be an able and dedicated officer. Sir!” Trax was not sure if he could handle this new Doctor during this exchange. The sad part there was no warning from the previous CMO of this type of change was posted to happen. “With all due respect, Sir! I don’t believe I would be a good Medical Officer for you, sir!” Trax said sincerely to the officer. “I don’t have any type of training in Klingon medicine or training in Klingon ways to do things and I don’t want to cause a diplomatic issue. Sir! I wish to be reassigned to another division for now maybe in the counseling department. Sir! Or reassigned to keep out of your hair. Sir!” Trax said calmly to the officer.
