[snip]Hayley paused a moment to gather her thoughts as she headed down the corridor toward the Counselor’s office. Her transfer to the Ark Angel so abrubtly after joining the Challenger had her mind in a bit of a muddle. She shook her head, corralled her thoughts firmly and put on her professional face before walking up to the door to activate the chime to request entry.

Hearing the Chime, Guy got as always his notebook, the pen and some of his favorite tea. He wasn’t sure who or what he got at that hour but he was certain to remember that a Bone was coming to get a check-in done “The worst patients…” he commented sighing “Come in.” Seating on the sofa with a leg over the other, Guy waited patiently as the door slid open and the young Ensign entered the dark but well decorated office. Nothing fancy really, just some antique furniture and some degrees put on the walls.

Hayley entered the office and stood before the couch. “Counselor Freeman? I’m Ensign Hayley Marshall. I was just transferred here from the Challenger.” Hayley smiled and shook her head, “It feels like I just had my psych eval there and here I am doing it again. May I sit?”

“Sit?” He asked concerned and confused. For the sight that Guy gave at the Ensign he could have been easily be confused with a stalker or some sort of weirdo in the dark street of 1950s New York. But in reality even the Counselor had to rest and late paperworks deprived Guy of the sweet sleep he needed. “Yes sit, of course! It is this evident that I am tired? Anyway take that sofa or I don’t know… the beanbag and get yourself comfortable. If you may I’m going to take some tea, you wish something to drink or eat?” He then asked the Ensign with his thick accent I’m going to take Pancakes too… This diet took them away from me!

Feeling somewhat bemused by the Counselor’s manner Hayley replied, “I would love some tea.” She took a seat on the sofa, finding it surprisingly more comfortable then it had looked at first.

Guy ordered to cups of tea, which came hot boiling, then with the other hand he took the plate of pancakes that had a 3 stacked pancakes with a delicious odor. In that moment he seemed like a waiter taking dishes to clients. “There you go, you don’t mind if I take a bite? I’ve been working for several days without stopping and I have a REALLY irregular lunch…” seating on the other side of the Sofa, Guy laid down the teas and then the pancakes. He took another fork in case she wanted to taste a pancake or two.
“Let’s start shall we?” Asked to the Ensign taking a large chunk of the food and drinking the hot tea.

Hayley took a sip of her tea and smiled, Lieutenant Freeman was unlike any other Counselor she had met so far in her short time with Starfleet. In a way she found it refreshing. “I suppose we shall,” she replied. “Question away.” Hayley couldn’t help being slightly amused by, but at the same time, respectful of the Lieutenant. She appreciated people who didn’t try to be someone they weren’t. She wasn’t always so good at that herself.
Ensign Marshall, Doctor
“Right. If I am a bit invasive or jerky just tell me. I’m still working to be a better person after a long time and yeah it is hard to be not bad.” He chuckled taking another chunk of pancakes “Miss Marshall, we’ll start with easy questions. I would say that this is perfect!” He started writing in his paper made notebook, another detail that made Guy a particular person “So tell me something about you and how would you define yourself if you had the chance to meet a clone of you.”
