“Alright, I will do what I can to find the Chief” responded Frogue. He then wondered off to look for Chief Shodan.

Whatever it is is in a protective field and is being dampened for a reason. I don’t wanna just ‘unplug it’, till we know what’s being dampened and what it could do it released.=^= There was a moment of silence before she clarified. =^=I mean crew from this ship. Hopefully someone who worked with the egg directly.=^=

Miz’uki’s scans of the core showed it was operating at near full capacity, energy draws from all systems being routed then rerouted to try to maintain the main draw from up on deck 15 where the others in the away team were with the ‘egg’ in the science labs. Perhaps finding Chief Shodan or someone higher then a common station NE to get more information ASAP would be wise.

“Maybe we will start to get some answers when the Lieutenant arrives, then” said Frogue.

Suddenly the power drain on the station almost immediately ceased. Sparks flew from blown out conduits nearby but lighting quickly returned to normal operations. NEs nearby shouted in surprise as if expecting an explosion of some sort but nothing like that materialized and soon cries of ‘someone shut off the dampening field on deck 15!’ and the like came up, a new sort of chaos erupted almost like concern, wonder, and perhaps even some fear.
